EZ-Server is a robust Windows compatible TCP/IP Transaction Server.  This software tool was designed to easily allow a programmer to collect transaction data using Intermec’s Antares direct TCP/IP based RF portable and hard wired data collection devices.  Using the EZ-Servers ActiveX OCX Tools, and your favorite Windows programming development environment, EZ-Server acts as a Real-Time two way interactive gateway between your host application database and your Intermec portable data collection devices and printers through the use of two (2) simple OCX Method calls.  EZ-Server will handle and maintain the connection to all of your data collection devices and will process transactions in a FIFO method.  The transactions that are transmnitted from your devices are captured and selectively stored to a textfile or can be passed to your custom developed database interface application via the included ActiveX .OCX visual developer control.  Upon processing the received transaction to your database,  you can also transmit confirmation responses back to your terminals with sub-second response time.  We have even thrown in a free sample VB application that demonstrates the use of the .OCX ActiveX control which you can use to lay the ground work for your entire transaction based data collection system.  Wether your transactions provide data for updating your companies Time & Attendance system,   processing Inventory Management transactions or displaying paperless Pick Sheets on your portable handhelds,  you will appreciate the flexibilty and scallability of this transaction server model as it can integrate into any type system.   Supporting unlimited  simultaneous device connections per license, EZ-Server provides the throughput you would expect to support your hardware investment.

Building a simple system?  Well it just does not get any easier.  EZ-Server also supports real-time batching by storing the transaction data to a flat file on your host PC or network drive as it is collected. This batching method does not require any host programming and the flat file created by EZ-Server can be easily ported to numerous database formats through standard file importing mechanisms. For example,  Microsoft Access, Excel etc. EZ-Server’s strength is in it’s reliability and ability to provide many flexible ways of developing a data collection system. One of which is sure to meet your needs.

New Integrated Label Printing
