What You Need To Know

Before EZ-Server will communicate with your TCP/IP based portable RF or hard wired data collection devices, the following is required:

  1. TCP/IP is installed and configured on the EZ-Server host PC.
  2. Portable and Hard Wired devices have the direct TCP/IP stack firmware loaded.
  3. Access Point(s) are installed and configured.
  4. Portables and Hard Wired devices are configured with the EZ-Server host PC IP Address, Subnet Mask and IP Port number.
  5. Portables display a connect symbol (a star within a solid rectangular box) at the top of their display.
