Enabling the Echo Server

Enabling the Echo Server simply echo’s portable transactions received immediately back to the RF portable it was received from. This is a very handy tool when testing your RF coverage area. Included with EZ-Server is an EZ-Builder program (with source) named TCPECHO.BIN, feel free to use it with the Echo Server to test your connectivity and coverage. If you have EZ-Builder by Intermec, use it as a reference to see how to successfully handle interactive transactions with EZ-Server.

Note - The Echo Server and ActiveX Interactive Interface are mutually exclusive and cannot be enabled simultaneously.
